Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
Summer-formal: Feel free to wear color, any length dress is fine. A suit or a dress shirt is suggested. No tie necessary unless that’s your thing..
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own.
Are children invited to the wedding?
We love your little ones, but this will be a child-free wedding. Thank you for understanding!
Is there parking available at captain whidbey?
Yes, there will be enough parking to accommodate everyone, should you choose to drive.
What can I do before the ceremony?
Aimee & Conrad have reserved the Whidbey Island Kayaking company to have kayaks and paddleboards available to all wedding guests on Saturday. They will be at the Dock at captain Whidbey between 10 AM and 2 PM . We suggest coming prepared to get wet (and have fun)! You should have plenty of time to enjoy the water before the ceremony. Also check out our explore page!
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony and reception will both be outside at captain Whidbey. While we anticipate warm weather for the ceremony, it might get chilly at night. Check the forecast if in doubt.
Can I have my phone out for the weekend?
We kindly ask that you keep your phones tucked away as much as possible throughout the weekend. We truly want everyone to be present and enjoy the moment with us—after all, it's not every day we all get to be together like this! Our amazing photographer will be capturing everything, so you can relax, unplug, and soak in the love and laughter. Thank you for understanding! 💛
